Voice Placement and Audition Information

Appointments for voice placements for Ablaze Vocal Arts Ensemble for the 2024-25 season are now available! All voice types are welcome.


Ignite Chamber Choir is seeking two basses for the 2024-25 season. All interested bass candidates are invited to audition at the end of August 2024 – see below for more information.

The following dates have been scheduled for voice placements and auditions for the 2024-25 season:

All voice placements will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral (1861 McIntyre Street).

RETURNING MEMBERS ONLY – CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION IN ABLAZE VOCAL ARTS ENSEMBLE FOR THE 2024-25 SEASON

This Google Form is for current members of the non-auditioned division of Ablaze Vocal Arts Ensemble and alumni who have completed a voice placement with the Artistic Director in a previous season. To confirm your participation for the 2024-25 season, please fill out the Google form below no later than August 1, 2024. 

If you have never sung with Ablaze Vocal Arts Ensemble, or you are interested in auditioning for Ignite Chamber Choir, do not fill out this form.

NEW FOR THE 2024-25 SEASON: The Special Projects Roster

Are you an experienced choral singer who is currently unable to commit to a long-term weekly choral schedule? The Ablaze Vocal Arts Ensemble Special Projects Roster may be for you! Throughout the choral season, short-term special projects often arise. Examples of special projects that Ablaze Vocal Arts Ensemble took part in during the 2023-24 season include singing with The Tenors at Casino Regina in November 2023, and singing Brahms' A German Requiem with the Regina Symphony Orchestra in June 2024.
